I am Lia, 28, half Colombian and half German, and I edit Medellín Pointer. I love travel, fitness and festivals, and I write the way I talk: warm, specific, and a bit too keen on a morning run before the day gets going.

I am 28. Half the family is Colombian, half is German, and the writing lands somewhere between a warm recommendation and a timetable. I love travel, fitness and festivals. On this site that shows up as morning-run notes in Laureles, a soft spot for the Feria de las Flores in August, and very little patience for a fare I have not checked.

I do not invent trips, prices or opening hours. If a number is on a guide, it came from a source dated on that page. If I have an opinion, it is labelled as mine.

How the guides get written

How I research: every guide is built from current, checked sources and updated when things change. Prices and hours move, so each page shows when I last checked it. Some links are affiliate links. If you book through them I may earn a small commission, and it does not cost you extra.

Hotel pages use the Tripadvisor score, review count, address and price tier already on the record. Rankings use that score out of 5, and a hotel needs at least 50 reviews to join the main list. I do not take payment to move a hotel up the list.
