Affiliate disclosure
The short version
Medellín Pointer is free to read. Some links are affiliate links. If you book a hotel or an activity through one, the site may earn a commission from the platform. It does not add to your price.
Agoda and Travelpayouts
Agoda links on this site use partner cid 1979060. That is Medellín Pointer's own Agoda id. A hotel with an Agoda property id on its record links to that property. If a record has no Agoda id, the button is an area search, and the page says so.
Other programmes, including Booking.com comparisons, activities, airport transfers and eSIMs, go through Travelpayouts under marker 705381. Travelpayouts pays the commission out of the programme's margin. Programmes that show up around the guides can include Booking.com, Klook, GetYourGuide, Tiqets, Airalo and others already wired in the affiliate table. If a programme is switched off, its button is not shown.
It does not change your price
You pay the same if you use a link on this site or if you go to the booking site yourself. The commission comes from the platform.
Rankings stay independent
Hotels are ordered by Tripadvisor score out of 5. A hotel needs at least 50 reviews to join the main list, and places outside the city follow that list. A higher commission does not move a hotel up the page. The site does not sell sponsored placements. If that ever changes, the page will say so in plain text.
Check before you book
Prices and cancellation rules move. Confirm them on Agoda or the other platform before you pay. The booking is a contract with that provider. See the terms.
